About this service
Most wadis still keep their accounts in a register or on WhatsApp. Members ask where the money went, and the treasurer has to explain the same things again and again.
Gaon Kharcha puts the accounts where everyone can see them. Anyone with the link can view the income, expenses and balance on their phone, without logging in. Only the committee's account manager can add or change entries.
Nothing is ever deleted. A wrong entry is cancelled with a reason and stays on record, so the accounts stay honest.
The whole app works in Marathi or in English. In Marathi every word and number is Marathi, member names included.

Do members need to install anything?
No. They open a link on their phone. They can also add it to the home screen like an app.
Who can change the accounts?
Only the account manager, with a password. Everyone else can only view.
Can an entry be deleted?
No. A wrong entry is cancelled with a reason, and everyone can still see it.
Can we change the photo, name and categories?
Yes, we set them up for your wadi, and changes later are part of maintenance.
How do we pay?
We agree the yearly price and any changes in writing first. You pay only after that.
